Spider-Man, drawn here by the great Todd McFarlane, struggles with the burdens and sacrifices of being a hero. Taking up both art and writing on Spider-Man in the late '80s, McFarlane brought Spider-Man into a gritty new world full of terrifying villains and meaningful struggles.
